A Czech film and television actress, she graduated from the Prague Conservatory and later from DAMU. Her feature-film debut was Zlatý podraz, and she also stood out in Aristokratka ve varu. She showcased her comedic talent in Jan Prušinovský’s series Dobré ráno, Brno!—winning the Czech Lion for her role as Andrejka. Audiences can currently see her in Tereza Kopáčová’s new mini-series Studna, as well as on stage at Studio DVA (Jak je důležité míti Filipa), the Estates Theatre (Cherry Man), Divadlo Letí (Lhářky), and in the absurd comedies Shrex and 50 Démonů at Archa+.

Born in Hungary and raised in New York, he studied under Ildikó Enyedi at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest. His short film Here I Am won at Hungarian Film Week, screened in Cannes Cinéfondation, and was nominated for the EFA. He is also behind Balaton Method, a crowdfunded feature. His debut feature Černý puntík received the Best Performance award and a Special Mention in Locarno, won at the 32nd DEF, and more. He co-founded and serves as Creative Director of the Budapest International Film Festival and leads Cine-Collegium Budapest, a foundation supporting films denied state funding.

A director and editor, she graduated from VŠMU in Bratislava. In 2024, European Film Promotion selected her for Future Frames at KVIFF as one of Europe’s ten most promising emerging directors. Her feature debut Nahoře nebe, v dolině já (2024) premiered in the main competition at the Tokyo International Film Festival and at KVIFF. For the film, she received Czech Lion nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay. She had already gained recognition with the documentary Dom Strom. In her work, she combines professional actors with non-actors, emphasising raw authenticity and rhythm. She is also the recipient of the Eyecandy Awards’ Editor of the Year 2024.

A film producer, she studied Film Studies at Charles University and Production at FAMU. Her credits include Na krev, Dobrá smrt, Kauza Kramný, and the award-winning true-crime podcast Pohřešovaná. Her films have screened at festivals such as Cannes, Locarno, Berlinale, and Annecy; her short film Rekonstrukce also received a nomination for the European Film Awards. She is a co-founder of Girls in Film Prague. She co-produced the Ukrainian feature Pohled motýla, which screened in Un Certain Regard at Cannes, and returned to Cannes with Karavan by director Zuzana Kirchnerová, also selected for Un Certain Regard.

He studied Czech Studies (Bohemistics) at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. Professionally, he worked for many years in academia—first at a Department of Czech Literature and later as a researcher at the Institute of Czech Literature of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He then joined Film Europe Media Company as a festival programmer and Head of Distribution. He currently serves as Vice-Dean at FAMU and works as a distributor and producer at Artcam Films, a company focused on independent cinema. He is also one of the founders and hosts of the film-and-satire podcast Čelisti on Radio Wave.

She is the artistic director of the Trieste Film Festival. Previously, she headed the programme of the Venice International Critics’ Week (an autonomous section of the Venice Film Festival) and worked as an advisor for the Thessaloniki Film Festival and 4 Écrans in Paris. She has curated several retrospectives of Central and Eastern European cinema, and has served as a consultant for Midpoint Feature Launch, First Cut Lab, and Czech Film Springboard. She co-founded the production company Mansarda Production and, among other credits, produced the documentary L’ultima spiaggia, which premiered in Cannes in May 2016.

A journalist, reporter, and presenter. From 2014 to 2022 she hosted Interview ČT24; earlier, she also briefly presented programmes such as Události, komentáře and 168 hodin. In March 2024 she joined Spotlight on Aktuálně.cz as a presenter. She also sings and occasionally performs as a guest with PSH. She has said that music is a major source of support in her life—and a path she follows.

A cellist and teacher. He studied at the conservatory under Viktor Moučka and continued at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (AMU) with Professor Josef Chuchro. From 1983 to 2013 he served as principal cellist (“concertmaster”) of the Czech Philharmonic. As a soloist, he has performed with the Czech Philharmonic, the Prague Symphony Orchestra (FOK), the Pilsen Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Madrid, and numerous chamber orchestras. He also appeared in Bohdan Karásek’s films Milostné písně and Karel, já a ty.

A music dramaturge and presenter at Radio Wave (Czech Radio), where he has been active for more than seven years. He is responsible for playlist rotation, genre-focused music shows, and the curation of music events, and is also involved in the emerging-artists chart Startér and the export platform Czeching. You can also hear him on the morning show On Air. With his band Good Times Only, he creates contemporary pop with Czech lyrics.
